breast pump

A breast pump is a mechanical device that extracts milk from the breasts of a lactating woman. There are various types of breast pump they may be manual devices powered by hand or foot movements or electrical devices powered by batteries or electrically. They are similar to those pumping machines which are used in milk dairies. They are most important medical equipment to those woman who are pregnant or give birth to young ones. Milk from the breast pumps collects into container that can be used as a storage or feeding. There are various types of breast pump according to their sizes of bottles.
Various uses of breast pumps:
·        Many women use them to continue breastfeeding. They store their milk in the bottle and fed to their child.
·        A breast pump may also be used to stimulate lactation for women with a low milk supply or those who have just give birth. It is important for a woman to have breastfeeding when give birth to young ones.
